There’s nothing pretty or fancy about cow manure. But when you “break it down” to its basic elements, it’s highly beneficial (and therefore marketable) when processed properly.

The client came to us with a rather basic design that was their best attempt at a packaging design. After some discussion, the final design direction for the overall packaging was determined to make the brand stand out on the shelf and be “bright” and “natural.”

We achieved this using natural, everyday imagery with bright colors for shelf impact. The brand identity was addressed with a simple handling of typography complimented by some well-executed iconography.

Many other elements of the packaging were designed to promote the aforementioned objectives. Refer to the before and after images below to see the contrast between where the client started us, vs where we finished the first round of packaging.
